Location: Himalayan mountain range, China
Design team: Zhi Zheng, Honghuan Zhao, Dongbai Song

AE Interests: water sustainability; each tower is comprised of six stem-like pipes that collect and store water; can be replicated en masse; will collect water in the rainy season, purify it, freeze it into ice and store it for future use

Notes: won the 2012 9th Annual eVolo Skyscraper Competition

AE Interests: the tower houses offices, 300 apartments, and 350 hotel rooms; second tallest building in Tianjin at 1739 ft; 101 stories; multi-story wind vents and aerodynamic shape reduce vortex shedding and therefore reduce wind forces; designed to meet LEED Gold specifications
