Location: Calgary, Canada
Design Architect: Snohetta
Architect of Record: DIALOG

Size: 240,000 sf
Currently under construction; projected to be finished in 2018

AE Interests
Oval-shaped, multi-faceted public library. Exterior is wrapped in a textured facade with translucent fritted glass panels used to screen private study areas and clear glass used for public areas. Interior centers around a four-story atrium topped with a skylight. Multi-functional building with meeting space, activity centers, cafe, theater, reading rooms, and conference rooms. [a]
