Building: S11
Address: Steckelhörn 11, Hamburg, Germany
Architect: Jürgen Mayer
Structural Engineer: WTM
Client: Cogiton Projekt Altstadt GmbH
Completed: 2009

AE Interest: Triangular footprint, 26.4m front, 1.3m rear; placed directly between two buildings. Facade is built from sheet and corrugated metal. Texture and color of the metals allow for the building to fit in with its more classical neighbors; cantilevered elements on the facade match the massing in adjacent building. Part of larger “Hafen City” development. [a]
