Architect: Shigeru Ban Architects
Cost: $6 million
Capacity: 700 individuals
(Shigeru Ban office engineered and constructed this building.)

Disaster Relief. World’s only cathedral made substantially of cardboard. [a] Gradual change in each angle of the paper tubes. Quake-proof, fireproof, and water-proof.  Wood beams inside cardboard tubes to provide additional support. [b]
