Building: Singapore National Stadium
Location: Kallang, Singapore
Architect: DP Architects
Structural Engineer: Arup
Contractor: Dragages Singapore
Environmental Engineer: Phoenix Solar
Completed: June 2014

AE Interest: At 1,023 ft in diameter, Singapore National Stadium exceeds the span of Texas Cowboys Stadium (902 ft) as the largest dome structure in the world. Phoenix Solar installed over 75,000 sq. ft of solar arrays, resulting in 60% less total energy consumption than traditional stadiums. Also, the only venue in the world custom-built for soccer, rugby, and cricket.
