AE Interests:  2012 London Summer Olympics, Complex Geometry, large-span (3 supports), Olympic Mode (w/stands) and Legacy Mode, Steel Roof Fan-Truss Structure, Software Process Maya to Rhino to Revit. Underside of roof will be red louro timber. Roofing is standing seam metal. `

  1. The steel in the cavity has a 3 layer protective coating for moisture. Glass is cantilevered from the ground to the roof to account for differential movement between the curtain wall and the roof. The joint between the glazing and roof is approximately 300mm wide
