AE Interests: Because building’s long side faces east-west, the west side is a double skin facade.  Natural ventilation is drawn through the double skin to ventilate the building.  Also, for reducing solar gains, the building has automated coloured blinds that block the afternoon sun, yet maintain excellent daylighting
